Cabernet Franc
Cru from an old vineyard · Toscana IGT
A deep, vibrant red born from an old vineyard overlooking the sea. The nose weaves Mediterranean herbs, dark fruit, spice and a fine earthy note. On the palate it is energetic, layered and taut, with a saline persistence that defines its character.

Viticulture and winemaking
The vineyard is farmed organically, with cover crops and field preparations applied to the soil and the vine. Alcoholic and malolactic fermentation start spontaneously in open tubs, with manual pump-overs and punch-downs.
Part of the lot stays on the skins under a submerged cap even after fermentation in a concrete tank, before being drawn off. No oenological additives, only the time needed to let the character of the cru come through.
Ageing and profile
Ageing continues for 12 months between 750-litre wooden casks and 320-litre Tava amphorae. The lots are then reassembled, aged in glass-lined concrete for 6 months and left to rest in bottle for at least 8 months.
The result is a Cabernet Franc that is deep and precise, made only in the best vintages: substantial yet taut, Mediterranean yet vertical, with a long, mineral finish that carries the sip through.
