Visit and tasting
Vines, cellar, and five wines with a view.
We open the doors of I Mandorli by appointment: an experience among the rows, in the cellar, and in the room looking out over the Isola d'Elba.
What happens
A visit that changes every time.
There's no script. We tell you what you need to understand the wine in your glass — and whatever you're curious about, even when it goes off-book.
In the vineyard
We walk among the rows to show you the ridge between the sea and the Colline Metallifere, and why we work every parcel on its own.
In the cellar
Terracotta amphorae, wooden barrels, concrete tanks. We show you how we ferment without additives and what shifts from one vessel to the next.
At the tasting
Five wines in the room looking out over the Isola d'Elba. You taste unhurried, you talk, you ask. Indoors, in any season.
You're guided by the people who work here every day. Italian and English, never more than ten people at a time, with time to ask questions without rushing.
To pair
If you'd like to stay at the table.
When you book, you can add a board or a course of starter and first dish to your tasting, chosen by how much time you have and how long you'd like to stay.
The Board
Cured meats, cheeses, and the things we make here.
Local cured meats and cheeses, focaccia fresh from the oven, our own oil and honey from the hives just above us. To break apart and enjoy slowly, while the wine does its work.
Starter & First Course
For those who want to sit down to lunch.
A seasonal starter, vegetables from the garden or a tartare of local meat. Then homemade pasta, with a vegetable or meat sauce. For those who feel like sitting down and really staying a while.

In Italian and English. Let us know in the booking notes and we'll set things up accordingly.
The visit goes ahead anyway. The tasting room is indoors and air-conditioned, sheltered from bad weather and summer heat. The vineyard part adapts to the weather: if it's pouring, we focus on the cellar and the tasting.

Yes, dogs are welcome. There's plenty of space outdoors and we can run the visit calmly, as long as the dog is used to being around other people and is kept under control along the way.
Online booking is set up for up to 10 guests per slot. For larger groups, write to us at info@vignaimandorli.it: we'll arrange the visit to fit you, with dedicated times.
Comfortable shoes. We walk among the rows on natural ground, nothing rough, but best to skip heels.
Yes. At the end of the tasting you can buy the bottles you've tried and the other labels available at the cellar.
